“ The food here is absolutely Delicious. With a capital D. I was in the area, and I was looking for a quick bite. I’ve never been to that side of Brooklyn before, so I was unsure of the type of food they had in the area. Then I saw this place, and I had to go inside. Super clean, and so much light. Even on a gloomy day Starspice lights up. The women dishing out the food, was so nice and friendly. I could write all day of how friendly everyone was in this restaurant. But my review is about the food. And let me tell you. The food here is super delicious. It definitely doesn’t disappoint. You can tell it was fresh food that they made that day. All of the season and spices aligned. I wish I lived closer so I can order everyday. If I’m back in the area I will definitely be returning. Because this place is definitely a treasure. Oh and If you’re Guyanese it has all of the great dishes from Guyana. And it’s 100% authentic. ”

Every Friday I would look forward to trying their Curry Shrimp, yet as I began to explore more of the wide variety of Food that is available, truthfully I can say that their Menu has yet to disappoint me. If you are seeking to eat delicious food that is highly flavorful and made with Love, then surely you must pay a visit to Star Spice. The Rice & Peas is simply phenomenal! Try the Jerk wings & you will find that the meat slides right off the bone. The Cook-Up Rice is also VERY Nice. Their Rasta Pasta is A1, and as someone who is a Patty enthusiast, Their Freshly baked Patties are easily some of thee best I have ever had truly. The Staff here is just as amazing as the food! I can go on & on about how thankful I am to have discovered this restaurant, I highly recommend! to any & all in the Flatbush Junction Area. Thank you Star Spice !! ”

Shamine and Erica have a wonderful vegan food selection too. We had pumpkin, kale & spinach, chick peas curry, okra with black eyed peas, ackee and butter beans, all with rice. It was absolutely delicious, we especially loved the pumpkin! StarSpice is the perfect option for any vegan or vegetarian looking for a flavorful, filling meal. ”
